COVID-19 Resources

Below you will find the most updated iteration of our COVID policies. The CDPH released an updated set of guidelines in March 2023, and we have adjusted our policies to more closely align with their recommendations. Parents must still communicate ANY ABSENCE (illness or otherwise) to our office, via office@daviswaldorf.org.

COVID-19 GUIDELINES 23-24 (UPDATED August 2023)

The Davis Waldorf School Board, Faculty and Staff have developed procedures and guidelines based on the recommendations of the CDC and CDPH to ensure our community remains safe.

We are thankful that with careful planning and re-development of our campus we have been able to remain in-person and on campus. Policies were first developed to keep our community safe under our Waiver Reopening Plan and then redeveloped in April of 2021, when all CA schools were required to develop a COVID Safety Plan.

Our goals remain the same: to prioritize the safety and wellbeing of our students and employees and to provide a comprehensive learning program that supports the development of the ‘whole child’.
