About Us

We are located in North Davis on a beautiful five-acre campus amidst grassy play spaces, gardens, herbs, wildflowers and plenty of shade trees.  We serve over 200 children from birth to eighth grade in our parent child classes, preschool, kindergarten, elementary and middle schools.

Our school offers a developmentally appropriate, experiential and academically rigorous approach to education.  We integrate arts in all academic disciplines for children from preschool through eighth grade to enhance and enrich learning.  We aim to inspire life-long learning in all of our students and enable each child to fully develop their unique capacities. Imagination, creativity and social responsibility are emphasized.

Land Acknowledgement

We should take a moment to acknowledge the land on which we are gathered. For thousands of years, this land has been the home of Patwin people. Today, there are three federally recognized Patwin tribes: Cachil DeHe Band of Wintun Indians of the Colusa Indian Community, Kletsel Dehe Wintun Nation, and Yocha Dehe Wintun Nation.

The Patwin people have remained committed to the stewardship of this land over many centuries. It has been cherished and protected, as elders have instructed the young through generations. We are honored and grateful to be here today on their traditional lands.
