Mardi Gras Masquerade Ball auctions will be divided into two parts: Silent and Live auctions. Please check out our auction catalog.

The Silent Auction will open at 5:30 p.m. in the downstairs portion of the lodge, during which time you will have the opportunity to view and bid on the silent auction items.

You will have a chance to buy an item by making a bid, that is, you offer an amount of money that you would be willing to pay for that particular item and write your bidding number (assigned to you at registration) and bid $ amount down on the bid sheet next to the item. Keep in mind that another person may come by and want the same item so he/she may offer more money, making a higher bid. So you will need to check your item(s) frequently and increase your bid for the items that you want.

All Silent Auction items will have initial starting bids. At the end of the auction, the person with the highest bid wins the item. The Silent Auction will be closed at staggered times to allow participants to concentrate on items of special interest. Winning bidders for each of the Silent Auction items will be notified at the check-out area following the close of the Silent Auction.

The Live Auction will be held after the close of the Silent Auction. Our terrific auctioneer will encourage people to bid on items as they are presented on stage. Live auction items will have initial starting bids. Subsequent bids are given by raising your Auction Bid Card (given at registration) to attract the auctioneer or the spotter's attention. Acceptance of the highest bid becomes a binding obligation. The auctioneer will announce the winning bid by number. All bids are final at the discretion of the auctioneer.
