Halloween Festival
October 27, Saturday, 5:00 - 9:00 p.m.
Celebrate Halloween with music, games, dinner, bonfire and treats. The Protected Path, with several story vignettes on a magical path through our campus, is open to all. The Perilous Path is open to all brave DWS students, grades 5 and up. Tickets are available in the office. $5.00 per child. (Protected Path tickets include one adult.). Delicious chili, cornbread, treats and more are available from our 7th Grade Cafe.

Community Winter Spiral
December 1, Saturday, 7:30 p.m.

Come join us for our community Winter Spiral, a reflective walk along a spiral made of evergreens. The Winter Spiral is a meditative time where we can experience gathering light from a central source and carrying it within to light the outer world.

When we begin, a candle in the center of the spiral is lit. We each walk the spiral alone and light our own candle from the center candle, and then place it along the path. Please dress warmly as this spiral is outside. To provide safety from the candle flames, please avoid wearing long flowing skirts and make sure that long hair is pulled back and secured. Spiral begins at 7:30 pm. Please gather quietly at 7:15 (with cell phones turned off). Open to all. Free.

Please note: Davis Waldorf students grades K-4 will have a winter spiral with their classes. Please check with child's teacher. This event is open to all.

Family Craft Day
December 1, Saturday, 12:00 - 4:00 p.m.

Join in a celebration of the winter season through craftmaking and come home with something beautiful. For adults, children and friends. Come and celebrate the winter season with us through Waldorf-inspired craft making for children and adults. A tradition in our school for the last 18 years! Crafts this year include candle making, wreathmaking by the 6th grade, gnome houses by the 7th grade, folded stars, pomanders, wooden string ornaments, a kid's only craft and much more. We will also have the fabulous 8th Grade Café and music. Family Craft Day offers our community an opportunity to celebrate, connect and create as well as support our 8th grade trip fundraising efforts.

Community members interested in assisting with crafts or preparations can contact Jenn Short, Director of Development, development@daviswaldorf.org.
